Gran Turismo 7 will provide players more options for customizing and tuning their cars than any previous game in the series.

We see how gamers will be able to customize their vehicles and how these adjustments will affect how each vehicle performs in a new video shown by Polyphony Digital CEO and Gran Turismo founder Kazunori Yamauchi. Throughout much of the video, a Toyota Supra is featured, and a bewildering assortment of accessories are available for it, including dozens of various wheel styles and exterior accents like rear wings.

Gamers will also be able to visit several tuning shops to purchase various performance items. High-lift camshafts, high-compression pistons, limited-slip differentials, and sports suspensions are examples of these.

“In Gran Turismo 7, we’re going to have the most number of parts we’ve ever had available for tuning the cars in the game,” Yamauchi says in the video. “[This] gives players more scope to tune their cars, and to customize them as they see fit.”
