Customize your PlayStation 5 console look with new colors

Sony has finally announced that PlayStation 5 consumers will be able to purchase a console that isn’t white. In January, new PS5 console covers in a variety of hues — Midnight Black, Cosmic Red, Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple — will be available for purchase, allowing PS5 owners to personalize their console in fun, long-overdue ways.

The $54.99 color customization will let PS5 owners to “simply remove your original white PS5 system covers and click your new ones into place,” according to Sony. For the time being, Sony has not announced plans to offer the PS5 in those new colors out of the box; instead, it will be available as an add-on.

Match faceplates with 3 new dualsense controller colors

While Sony already sells the DualSense controller in Midnight Black and Cosmic Red, the PS5 controller will be available in three new colors to match the console’s new covers. DualSense controllers in Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple will be available in January.

Sony’s new PlayStation 5 console covers are $54.99 each and are currently in Midnight Black and Cosmic Red. PS5 owners should be aware that the ordinary PS5 and the Digital Edition PS5 have different covers and should shop appropriately.
